6. It's the Same Teacher!

Arc 1: I Can't Believe I Made It! | January 21, 2026

The crayfish professor walks to the table in the lecture hall and announces, 'Hello, students. Welcome to Software Engineering I! Hope you read the syllabus...'. Silver and Tikal are sitting at their desks with their laptops open. Silver sees the professor and exclaims, 'It's Doctor Riverbend, the same professor as Systems and C Programming!' He then asks, 'If he teaches that amount of classes, then how much free time does he have?' Tikal replies, 'He must be a workaholic.' As Silver plays a game on his laptop (with 'footsteps' and 'boop' sound effects), he mutters, 'I'd die if I had that much work, and I'm already suffering.' With her notebook, Tikal responds, 'Me too.'

Can't you believe there was only one comic strip in 2025?!

Yeah, I tried to push another strip in December, but it's hard to follow the schedule and do everything you need to do when you have ADHD (as well as sleep deprivation). I was pretty much only able to do one big task each day, and combine that with constant dopamine-seeking and the fact I need to study Introduction to Analysis of Algorithms (which I've heard is harder than rocks) in preparation for my last college semester.

It didn't help I had perfectionist tendencies, especially during the inking process, where I drew new lines to be more accurate than the pencils used photo manipulation features. But, hey, at least the comic strip is now done!

As you can see here, I'm trying to get a storyline going, now that I focus on arcs based on past events instead of current. Also, I want to return to finished Sonic fanart, with actual colors and shading, so depending on how I accommodate my schedule, you may see a lack of Silver Scripts strips for a while. However, this comic is definitely not going to be end! I also want to tell stories within this AU, and you'll get to see them.
